SHAWNEESTOCK 2020

The summer Woodstock retrospective has become a fixture in Shawnee,  and NASTY WEATHER was honored to be asked back for the annual event in downtown Shawnee at Celebration of Life Park on Friday, 08/21/2020.  There were lots of groovy dudes and hippie chicks, and Nasty Weather cranked out some great tunes from the era, from artists like Cream, CCR, Santana, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and lots of others. Special thanks to the awesome Kassy Mize for contributing her talents for the evening, and channeling some great voices from back in the day. Also thanks to the Moody Dudes for starting off the show with a great acoustic set. Finally, many thanks to those who braved the pandemic and came out for socially distanced music, peace and love.

HAFER PARK 2016

We thank all the hearty souls that came out to brave the elements at Hafer Park. If you were not there, you missed another kind of nasty weather. After about 9 songs, the skies suddenly opened up, drenching the crowd, the band and all of our gear.

Unfortunately, our good friends Zero2Sixty didn't get to play a note. But we extend a big thank you to those guys for running sound and helping us sound our best ... while we were still dry, that is
